As the Festive fever grows to tangible degrees in the atmosphere, Joburg theatre together with Joburg City Parks and Zoo, City Power and City of Joburg continues to enthral festival of lights goers with world class performances and dynamic collection of small businesses that are operating stalls for the duration of the festival.
This week festival-goers will be taken into a realm of dance proudly delivered by the well-known, Tribhangi Dance Theatre delivering a repertoire that includes African, Indian, Contemporary and Afro-fusion. The highly talented crew is a contemporary dance company dedicated to creating performances of original South African choreography.
Following the Presidential announcement on Monday regarding the second wave of #COVID19, festival of lights organisers would like to notify the patrons that all performances and festival activities will end no later than 21h00 to allow ample time for staff and festival goers to get home before the curfew.
Performance dates and Times: 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 December from 19h00 to 20h30

Tickets: R75 (children 3–12), R90 (pensioners), R150 (children 12+ and adults); children under 3 admitted free.

No balloons, balls, pets, alcohol, sharp objects and glass bottles
Patrons are encouraged to bring their masks, hand sanitizers and to arrive 45 minutes early to undergo Covid-19 screening. Those who do not come with their masks will not be allowed in.
Featuring a collection of illuminated life-size animal characters, classical entertainment, food and craft night market, the Festival of Lights offers an enchanting night out for all ages and amazing number kiddies rides operating daily.
